The Kids:)

So yesterday was Asher's Christmas party at school.  I have learned, with this being my second party, that two year old parties last all of 15 minutes.  Which is not a bad thing, but funny.  Sometimes they like the Chick-fil-A chicken nuggets and sometimes they don't.  Sometimes they want a cookie, other times a cupcake.  In any case, they are very cute.  Asher did better at this party than the Halloween party- then he was very clingy and whiny, this time he yelled "Mommy!"  when I walked in, gave me a hug and then happily sat down at his table to eat.  He was sweet- he came over several times to get a hug, but was happy sitting with his friends, and then playing.
His teachers say he really seems to have "turned the corner" as far as his mood during the day.  He's not upset like he used to be and is happy to be at school.  Which makes us very happy!
Yesterday afternoon Asher didn't nap (too much school excitement?) so after letting him roll around for awhile I got him up and we started playing.  He had such a good afternoon!  He was pleasant and sweet and silly.  When I got up to leave the playroom he'd say "Hey!! Come back here" which comes out "Hey! Tum back ere."  He got out his Bubble Guppy tent and said "Tent- I wuf it."  I was running one of his cars up his back, over his shoulder and down his belly and he'd say "That tickles- mommy do it."
When we played with Play Doh and he decided he was done he said "Put away, put away" and I said "would you like to eat some dinner?"  he replied "Yes Pwease."  Such a love bug!

This is the parent gift the kids made for us- so sweet!  We will cherish it always!

Tent- he'd look up and see the light shining through the tent and said "moon!"

Then there's this cute little girl named Hannah.  She is a little spitfire and so much fun!  She is sweet and getting more sassy by the minute!  She yells to get attention and is so determined.  Last night Asher had a bag of goldfish on the couch that she couldn't reach.  She stood there and just yelled- 'mamamamamamamamamama' and screeched until I realized what she wanted!  She wants big girl food, so I have started her on bananas, and she likes beans too... I'll be trying avocados next I think!

I have a video of her today that I'll post in a little bit- she loves tormenting the dogs!  She crawls up to the gate, stands and screeches at them!  It drives Diego crazy.  If I close our bedroom door so she can't get to the gate, she stands up at the door, knocks on it and  yells that way!
I also have a video of Asher from yesterday to post.  He had finished playing with his Play Doh and was waiting for his dinner.  He started looking at Brown Bear Brown Bear and was "reading" the last page.  It's a childhood favorite of a lot of kids, and it made me smile:)  We are so blessed by these kids!
Hugs to all! :)
