Well the sickness didn't stay away long, but thankfully this time it was Jayme and I who got sick (thankfully? maybe the wrong word) and not Asher. Friday night we both got hit with the stomach bug. Which, oddly enough, I know of two other families in Jax who had it last week as well. Weird. The good news was that I got it first, so Jayme was able to play with and put Asher to bed on Friday night, and then when he was bad on Saturday I was doing a little bit better and able to take care of Asher. Also a huge help was my friend Barbie taking Asher for about 3 hours in the afternoon. She got to play with cutie pie and I got to rest! A Godsend! :) By Saturday night we were just laying around recuperating. Bummer though- I had a babysitter scheduled for last night so we could go out on our 4th date since Asher was born. I canceled just to be sure we didn't pass on any germs. I just prayed constantly that Asher wouldn't get sick. I don't know how he didn't because as all mommies know, you share everything with your kids! Drink of water? Sure I'll share! Bite of muffin? Sure, here you go!! Yesterday we vacuumed, mopped, cleaned and did laundry. GO AWAY germs!!! Ok, enough about that.
Today Asher and I were back to school! He had a great day, and his teacher and my friend, Jamie sent me a video and a couple of pics of him playing. The other little boy in the pictures/video is Layton, Jamie's son, who will be a year old on Wednesday. They are little buds. Have a happy week!
