Yesterday we went to the Jacksonville Zoo for Asher's first trip. It was definitely very warm, but we arrived at a decent time in the morning and left about lunchtime, so we survived! Asher made it through pretty much the whole zoo, and was really fun to watch. He waved at all the animals, and was able to see/spot them all, despite only being 10.5 months old! We were impressed :). He even helped us feed the giraffes. That was the main thing I wanted to do, so we went to feed them right after arriving at the zoo. We couldn't get him to look at the camera, but hey, there were giraffes right next to us!
Today we made it to church for the first time in awhile, and then went to the pool for a little bit this afternoon. I snuck away for a pedicure during Asher's second nap, and then we hung out and chased Asher around the house until bedtime. A pretty fun weekend!!!
