Weekend!

How fun it was to have a three day weekend with Jayme!  Of course because life is a little crazy right now he didn't tell me he had Monday off until Saturday, and I didn't even think to ask!  Heehee!
Friday night (Valentine's Day) was a bit crazy for us!  Gone is the romantic date and in it's place (and better than the romantic date) was us juggling our two babies, who were both having rough nights! Asher has molars coming in and Hannah is just a newborn!  We would switch back and forth depending on who had just been in with Asher/if Hannah needed fed/who needed to run and take a 3 second shower.  It was sad and comical at the same time (sad for our babies, comical because at one point we just looked at each other and laughed- where's the "Candid Camera?")  There's nobody I'd rather spend a crazy night with than my hubby- love you sweetness!!
Saturday brought a bit more order, and some quality family time.  We decided to get out of the house and go to our local park.  It was a bit crazy, and Asher got his first real booboo- a puffy lip!  He was just crawling along the playground and lost his balance!  Look closely!  He is pretty tough though, and didn't cry for long.

We walked around the playground for a bit and then decided to go to the mall and get Asher a hat.  "Hat hat" is one of his favorite words right now, and he makes anything into a hat- a blanket, an oven mitt, cups, blocks, you name it, he wants it to be a hat.  When we were in Anna Maria Island last summer we got him a Tampa Bay Rays hat, but he lost it on a walk (I think).  So we got him a Jags hat.  The infant size was too small so we got the next one up.  Funny enough I don't think I have a picture of him in it yet, I will try to get one soon (I know you are anxiously awaiting it haha).  Then we stopped for a cookie and just sat and enjoyed it on a bench (Asher wasn't really into the cookie, so I did what I had to do- ate it for him).  Hannah did well hanging out in the Moby Wrap- she took a nap!

Sunday was really fun!  We decided again to get Asher out of the house (12 hours is how long his day lasts, and sitting around the house gets kind of old after awhile).  After his nap we went to one of our local favorite restaurants- Sliders.  We had a quick meal and then went for a walk on the beach.  Asher led the way, and was really fun to watch.  He had his serious face on while he picked up a lot of shells (even taste tested a few) and he and Daddy played with some branches they found.  Asher didn't mind the sand and had a great time running free.  After awhile we decided we needed a snack, so we walked over to M Shack and got some milkshakes, which Asher was a HUGE fan of!  Jayme got peanut butter and I got vanilla, and he had a grand time getting sips from both of us.  I think the peanut butter was his favorite though!

Yesterday was a chill day at home.  Asher and Jayme got out for a bike ride and then in the afternoon we spent a little bit of time outside.  Since Hannah didn't have many pics in this post, I just think I'll put some of her here at the end, so she gets face time :).  I plan on writing more about her first couple of weeks, but for now, here she is!:)
