Asher Cade

Our little man is so sweet, and is getting smarter everyday!  Yesterday we got back from a few days in DeLand visiting GG and cousins (that is another post :)).  Asher was very happy to see Daddy and to have us all together again.  We were just hanging out together before bedtime when Asher spontaneously hugged Jayme and then came over to hug me.  He then went back to Daddy, kissed him, came over, kissed me and then even kissed Hannah.  Totally unprompted.  Love our sweet sweet boy.  I had him reenact his kissing so I could "document" it, which he was very happy to do.

While we play, I often count animals, books, toys etc. with Asher.  I do the same with colors- I tell Asher the colors of things he is holding.  Awhile ago he started saying "boo"  for blue, and also was repeating "gee" for green.  Well, it's like something "clicked" today.  He was playing in his ball pit and started saying "gee" and picking out the green balls.  We started a "conversation" about it and he was able to tell me the difference between green and blue.  Take a look!

Later, after his nap, Asher was playing with some bristle blocks.  He started saying "gee" and picking out all of the green ones and putting them on the ottoman!  He is sorting!  So cool!  Beginning math skills!  Yay Asher! :)
