Language Skills

In the last couple of weeks Asher's language has really taken off.  Not that a stranger would understand him necessarily, but he has added talking in 3-4 word phrases and sentences to his repertoire.  It's really cool to hear it just pop out!
He also is at a fun age where he remembers events and situations that happen.  I am posting 3 short videos of him parroting/saying some of he phrases he says a lot these days- they were taken on Wednesday, the day he got his haircut.  In one of them you will hear me ask him if he got his haircut.  He says "nope!"  Well, I kept asking him and later that night he started talking about it.  He said "hairtut....sit fire truck (the chair he sat in was a fire truck).....watch Mickey....titchen (he loved the play kitchen there)....torn (aka corn)...lemons..."  He would pause in between words as he recalled what had happened!  He's starting to do the same thing when I pick him up from school.  He says "play...paint...torn(corn)...it's fun."  It's so neat to see this stuff developing, like we can almost see the gears turning in his little mind.
I took these videos because I can type what he's saying, but it's so much more fun to hear his little voice saying it!  One more that's not in the video that he says is "oh come on"  it's a phrase I say a lot when annoyed at something that's not going right (like the diaper bag falling over and everything spilling out haha).  So fun!
Oh and in the last few days he's started to say "I wuf you" back when we go somewhere.  The first time for me was when I left for Bunco on Thursday night.  I kissed him and said "I love you Asher, have fun with Dada."  He said "I WUF you!"  So sweet!  That wasn't completely on his own, but we are hearing it more and more, which is just THE BEST!!!!
Enjoy the videos!  In the first video he says what sounds like "fee-to" I think he's saying "Figaro" which is Minnie Mouse's cat.  There is definitely some repetition but... :)
