Epcot

After Animal Kingdom on Saturday, we enjoyed Epcot on Sunday all day.  We didn't have our super sweet tour guides in the morning, but Amanda had signed us up for a Fast Pass for Spaceship Earth.  After that we just kind of wandered around and found things to look at/do.  We wandered into a building and found a few random activities to do.  One was a Piggy Bank game of sorts, in which you had to choose a situation to save up for (like a vacation, a room makeover, retirement etc) and then play a few rounds to try and earn money for your chosen situation.  Asher and I played the game, and chose a bedroom makeover (it had bunk beds and a slide!).  The best part was that we got to hold a real piggy bank and put him in to various machines, and he would appear on the screen in each "center" that we went to.  Obviously it was too hard for Asher to understand, but he is still talking about it a week later!  "It's fun to do the piggy bank.  We put the piggy bank in and it goes up.  The piggy bank went bye bye."
We then wandered into a building called "The Land" and found a boat ride to go on that told us a lot about the future of plant/food growing and some things they are doing at Epcot to help this.  We got to see a 9 lb. lemon- cool!
Asher handled everything similarly to Saturday- very nervous so we explained things the best we could and talked him through it!  He did very well.  I was impressed!
After lunch we walked around a bit to look at the beautiful topiary trees that were shaped to look like many Disney characters.  Then we met up with the Salis and more fun began!  We traded off keeping the little ones so we could all go on some fun rides.  I even went on Test Track, which I've been told is the fastest ride of any Disney park in Orlando!  I get really nervous and anxious on thrill rides but I pushed through it and Amanda and I had fun doing something together, sans kids, even if we were only gone for about 20 minutes!  Then we switched and Juan, Jayme and the girls went on it.
The best part, though, was the Finding Nemo ride.  We had Fast Passes for it, which meant no waiting yay!  Asher really liked it!  Finally!  Something he visibly enjoyed:).  He liked it so much that he said "want to go on seashell, want to go on seashell!"  So we hurried around and went again- woohoo!  The other thing he really liked was Turtle Talk with Crush from Finding Nemo.  You sit in a small auditorium with a movie screen and then Crush the turtle comes out and interacts with the audience.  Very low key and right up Asher's alley!  They even "picked" on Uncle Juan, which was fun.  When we left Asher said "I wike (like) that turtle!"  The kids had fun checking out the various aquariums in the same building.
The last thing we did before leaving was take a lap on the monorail.  This was special because Uncle Juan used to drive the monorails!  It was fun to just sit and take in the scenery.
We left Epcot at about 8pm and arrived home at about 1030pm.  Asher stayed awake until 10pm in the car!!!  Hannah passed out at about 845pm.  I thought we would have a really rough couple of days afterwards but the kids did great, with only minimal fussing.
It was great to spend time with family and we can't wait to do it again next month when we use our last day of the pass by going to Magic Kingdom!  Let the good times roll!

A few more shots around the hotel before leaving in the morning.  Asher keeps saying he wants to go back to "my pool and my cars."  They had everything all decked out with the theme Cars.
