Magic Kingdom

Well despite this awful week we just got through, last Sunday at Magic Kingdom with family was really really great!  It was a great experience for Asher and Hannah, and brought back so many cool memories for Jayme and I.  It was also just fun to hang with family!  We were with the Sali's, and also Juan's sister Dawn, and her hubby Ray!
Once again we had our wonderful "tour guides" Amanda and Juan!  Amanda planned out our fast passes (everyone gets 3 "skip to the front of the line" passes included in admission price), keeping the kids in mind.  It's a bit different when you have little ones who can't yet go on all the rides!
I have to say, we did well getting to the park at a decent time- we arrived in the parking lot at about 915am and started our day by getting on the monorail to get to the park (you have to either take the ferry or the monorail to get to the Magic Kingdom, something we had forgotten about!)
We rode many rides with the kiddos- The Little Mermaid ride, the carousel, It's a Small World (Asher says "It has a happy clock!" and when I say "Remember the ride It's a Small World?" he replies "No Mommy, it's a big world. - people dancin' and singin"), Dumbo the Flying Elephant, we watched the Fantasy Parade, went on the Tomorrowland Speedway, went to the Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor, rode Winnie the Pooh, The old Wed Way People Mover, and everyone but the 3 little kids went on the Mine Train.  This was a big deal for me because I don't do roller coasters, and even though this is not a "big" coaster, I was proud of me because I simply don't do them!  I don't like heights and drops etc.  However, with encouragement, some calming essential oils and Elena holding my hand I made it through and really actually enjoyed it.  I would definitely do it again!  Woohoo!
I think one of Asher's favorites was Winnie the Pooh- he keeps saying "we saw Poof the Bear, and he wikes honey, and Tigger...." it's fun to hear him talk and process his way through all the experiences he had!
It was another successful weekend and we are happy to have done it!  A special thanks to Uncle Juan, Aunt Mandy, Auntie Dawn and Uncle Ray for watching little people so we could do all the rides!!!  Love you lots!
