More Catch Up

My good friend Candace was in town a couple of weeks ago, and we were lucky enough to see her a few times.  She brought the boys over for a play date one evening, along with some pizza, and she and I also got out one night for dinner and a bit of shopping together.  

The kids still remember each other, and played together very well.  So awesome that they were in town!!  Can't wait til next time!

The kids and I also took a trip to the Town Center one afternoon recently, and they enjoyed playing in the playground area.  Hope had fun watching big bro and sis climb all over.  It's funny to me that they are now two of the bigger kids out and about now, when the really big kids are in school.  I found myself saying "watch out and be careful of the smaller kids!" 

The last thing I wanted to document is Teacher Appreciation Week!  Our kids LOVE their teachers.  It is really awesome knowing they are so loved when I drop them off three times a week at school.  The year has really flown by, and I can't believe there's only a few weeks left!  I took the kids to Target and asked them to pick something out for their teachers.  Hannah immediately chose a "purse" aka cosmetic bag, chapsticks and lotion for her teachers.  Asher kept suggesting things for the classroom (like stickers, items for the treasure chest etc), so I helped him and told him about a great water bottle from Swoozies that we could fill with candy for Mrs. Porter.  He said "she drinks water."
It was all he could think about from the afternoon we went to Target to the next morning, which is when I said we'd be going to the store.  He woke up saying "Mommy!  Can we go to the store for Mrs. Porter's water bottle?  What if they are out?  Will they have more?"  The kids also did an awesome job making cards for the teachers.  :) We got some frozen yogurt after our trip to Swoozies.
