We managed to hit up two playgrounds, which made me feel like super mom haha. They love climbing and running and sliding so much. On Tuesday we had a nice surprise- Hannah's BFF Hannah Pugh was at the playground we chose to go to! Her mom teaches the Stroller Strength program that is at the playground 3 times a week! I also had a fun "they are getting older"moment- they can now climb all the structures by themselves, and just had a blast playing with each other and Hannah Pugh. I even sat on the bench for a few minutes and talked to Hope! Then that night I watched the "Slow Down" video I put in my previous blog post and cried because they are getting older. Ahhhh, being a mommy.... :)
We have also started putting Hope in another room to sleep. The Pack n Play gets rolled into the play room nightly, so we don't have to tiptoe around our room and so she isn't disturbed by us or Diego. She is sleeping better (knock on wood)- the past few nights I have even gotten a 5-6 hour stretch! Winning!!!! Also, cue the tears because our little caboose isn't in our room anymore. I'm a mess:). For now this works, because Hannah isn't the best sleeper at the moment, and I don't want the girls waking each other up and making things worse! Asher wants Hope in his room, but he is doing so well right now, I don't want to mess THAT up! I am praying for the best situation/combination of kids- should I put the big two in the same room and give Hope the girlie room? Time will tell, but for now this works. It's a good problem to have :).
Yesterday the kids and I took Hope to swim, went to a playground, then got Asher's hair cut. He looks adorable, and of course older. Jayme says no more haircuts in 2017:). Aunt Abby came by as well, which was a wonderful treat! The kids played games with her, and she helped me keep my sanity throughout Asher being challenging. Say a little prayer for us for wisdom- he is pushing the limits, and we are being consistent, but it's not easy. Parenting can be tough! He is a very smart little dude and it's becoming apparent he will keep us on our toes!
Superheroes with their capes and shields :)
Tuesday at the playground.
MOMMY! IT'S HANNAH PUGH!!!!!!!
Shortly before we left Hannah Pugh's mommy and I were talking, and the kids were playing with chalk. Asher drew a Disney cruise ship and some Mickey heads on the top- like the dirt line where his socks met his ankles??:P
Hannah's new fave way to wear her hair, though it doesn't stay in all day.
Sweet baby Hope after her 10 minute lessons. She is so exhausted, she just lays there til I get her up! I'll post some videos soon- a bit hard to watch, but glad she will have the skills!
Happy girl a few minutes later
"Before" haircut pic- he loves the orange flowers he picked out with Daddy a couple weeks ago!
We love Aunt Abby! Was such good timing, since Hannah had just looked at me and said "I lub Aunt Abby" about 20 minutes before she walked in!!
This was from Monday- now that she's mastered crawling and pulling herself to standing, she's trying to free stand- NOOOOOOO! Love that little face :).
Here's a video of all of them playing- Jayme calls it "here kitty kitty" :P
