Monday on AMI

So I'll just continue the week of our vacay in AMI.  This was our first full day of fun in the sun!  We were anxious to get out to the beach, though somehow it took us til 10am.  Which was totally fine obviously, just funny, because we were so close to the beach!  Three little kids take a lot of prep, but it's worth it.
Daddy is a super awesome sand castle builder, as you will see.  This was also the first day we tried out the Go Pro camera that Jayme receive for his bday from me.  It has been so much fun, and I don't even know all the stuff it can do yet. Haha.  It is super small, waterproof, portable and easy to use.  Our most recent accessory purchase for it is a bike mount, so now we can see the kids' little faces while they are riding their bikes!  Fun :).
Anyways, enjoy the pictures, I've captioned them to explain a little bit about our days as I load them!

Monday- the day before Asher discovered how fun the Gulf is!  He wouldn't get in the water, and we were worried about him overheating.  Thankfully we just poured buckets of water on him, and then Tuesday he got in!

This is a giraffe!

 Our mermaid!

 Deep coversations

This was also the day of the eclipse.  We were totally unprepared haha, but we didn't tell the kids about it, and just did a tiny peek.  It was pretty cloudy during the time of the actual event, so we didn't have to worry about eyes getting damaged!

Hannah had too much fun opening her eyes in the pool, so she relaxed with a wet washcloth on them.  She let me put some saline in them as well.  She almost fell asleep!

Asher had been asking to go mini golfing since we told him about going back to AMI.  He LOVES it, and we love seeing that happy face.  I stayed behind to prep dinner and let Hope take her afternoon nap, but the big kids had fun with Jayme.  Hannah, of course, was ecstatic about her pink ball. :)

Rainy Sunset- still beautiful
