Last Week's Highlights

We have gotten into a bit of an after school routine around here.  After Asher's homework is done, we head outside for about an hour to play basketball and the girls have been bringing their dolls out for a picnic.  They come take a shot here and there with the ball, whenever the mood strikes them, but usually they are happier to chill and play with each other.
Asher is going to be playing basketball again this summer, which is just games on Saturdays and 3 practices at some point as well.  He likes playing the old playground game HORSE, as well as one on one, which he calls "the epic game- Mommy can we play that epic game?"

After working up a good sweat, we like the old school ice pops!!  They are LOVING these, and it's fun to share a tradition from childhood!

 A couple of weekends ago I saw my sweet friend Dawn had posted a pic of her new avocado toast blanket on her IG account.  I messaged her and told her I needed one in my life.  She took me seriously and a couple of days later showed up at the house with one!!!  Isn't she the sweetest??  The kids now argue over who gets to snuggle with it, and even take it to bed with them!  Thanks D!

Silly girls- hannah is wearing her new ballet costume for her recital in June (We were trying it on).  Hope wanted to be a part of the action and wore Hannah's costume from last year!

 This was pretty funny.  So one day after school last week we needed to get teacher gifts taken care of.  However, after school the kids are SUPER hungry and grumpy.  They ate the snacks I had brought, but that wasn't enough, so we decided to try Le Macaron, which is a kiosk that sells macaroons at the Town Center.  It's the only non restaurant place at the end of the mall we were at.  So they all happily picked the birthday cake macaroon, and then proceeded to hand theirs to me saying they didn't like them.  So I ate 4 macaroons that day, so as not to waste money. HA!  I thought they were good....

 We like the Natural Life store!!!  Their flagship store is here in Jax, and they know it helps to have something for kids to do!!!! Winning!  I spend money and the kids have some fun haha!
