This Week

This week has been good overall.  Monday-Wednesday brought icky weather, and my mood reflected it a little bit I have to say.  Yesterday was sunny, as is today.  It's so much nicer when you can get outside and enjoy fresh air, and not have to put jackets on!  I am a true FL gal, and dislike wearing jackets a lot!
Hannah turned 7 weeks yesterday, and she is such a joy.  I am amazed at how easy of a baby she is.  In the evening, as I have mentioned before, we often lay her on our bed or on the ottoman under her activity gym, while we do chores around her.  She looks around quite a bit, and then just drifts off to sleep without a peep.  Amazing!

She is smiling more and more everyday, which is so neat to see.  She is becoming a great tummy time-er and is making lots of eye contact, and appears to be able to see pretty far.  How clearly she is seeing is somewhat of a mystery, but she seems to be able to lock on to objects and people.  As you can see below, she likes to watch her brother too!
Hannah has a long stretch at night, which means I am getting about 4.5-5 hours of sleep in a row- yay baby!  I often wake up at about 2-230am to put her paci back in and rewrap her but that only takes a few seconds!  We are still using the monitor while she sleeps to track her heart rate and breathing, but have only had one alarm, which the therapist told us was a false alarm.

She hangs out with us on the porch in her rocker quite often!

Asher is on the go as always.  He is a happy boy, and loves to be chased and play peek a boo.  Yesterday he and I had a good game going.  He hid between the ottoman and couch and I'd pop up all around him.  He has the best giggle!  Also this week he has started pulling on my shirt or clothes when he wants me to get up.  Then he grabs my hand and leads me wherever he wants me to be.  So cute.  This morning we were outside and I was sitting in our Adirondack chair.  He pulled on my jeans, so I got up.  Then he smiles and proceeds to climb into my chair!!  Stinker!  He also likes to climb out of the chair under the arm, which he is getting pretty good at.
He learned to say "jacket" and "jags" this week too.  Love him!

Got your chair Mommy!

Finger-painting with yogurt- epic fail!  It helps if you give your kid non expired yogurt so it doesn't taste awful...

He is so happy when he wakes up!

Mom that flash is bright!!

Just reading in my car!

Playing peek a boo!  Oh and he also figured out how to climb up on the guest room bed...

Have a great weekend!!
