Weekend!

Saturday mornings are quickly turning into our beach time!  Asher of course slept in one the one day we wanted to do something- until 9am, when I woke him up.  I had a hair appt at 115pm that we needed to be back for.  We have our little routine of going through the Chick-fil-A drive thru for breakfast and then heading to the beach.  When we arrive Jayme sets up the "shade shack" and I keep an eye on Mr. I-have-no-fear-of-the-water.  Then we sit down for our gourmet meal of biscuits and chicken!  Asher knows the routine now- this weekend he kept saying "chichen, chichen" until I gave him his!
Hannah took quite a long nap in the stroller which is wonderful for us- means we can stay at the beach longer.

Little boy, big ocean

This is the very cute but "bad" position for swimming!

Panorama of beach- Jayme and Asher are in the middle!
Last night we had a date night- yay!  We went and test drove a Honda Pilot, which was very nice and had MUCH more trunk space that we currently have (with the 3rd row of seats down- we don't have a 3rd row of seats in the Terrain).  I love my Terrain, but it is difficult to do normal things in it - such as put groceries and the double stroller in the trunk.  There's no room in the row with the kids for anything either.  I usually stuff groceries in the passenger seat and the stroller takes up the whole trunk.  We are going to look at a GMC Acadia this week as well.  I love my Terrain and the GMC dealership here in town has been amazing these last 4 years.  Anyways- after we test drove the Pilot we went to dinner at a yummy restaurant called Cantina Laredo and then walked around the Town Center a bit.  Nice to be out together!
Today we went to church, Jayme did yard work and this evening we met Grandma and Grandpa Wiggins for dinner at Cracker Barrel.  Asher was a bit wiggly but did well overall and Hannah was her cute self!  Yay for family time!  Asher calls Grandpa "Papa" and Grandma either "Ma" or "Mama".  I think it's interesting he makes both words two syllables (like the real words are) and also uses the last syllable to make his version of both of them.
