She wears some 9 month clothes and some 12 month clothes, wears a size 3 diaper and has recently (the week before Christmas) switched to only getting up one time a night! It has been an exciting development for this mommy! Hannah sometimes takes 2 naps and sometimes just takes 1, which makes it nice, because they occasionally go down at the same time and then I get a few things done around the house!
Hannah loves to clap, smile, blow bubbles, dance, growl and makes a sound kind of like what a small elephant would make. She makes the best squishy face while sniffing in and out. She crawls quickly, pulls herself up on everything and in the last few days has started letting go A LOT to stand on her own. She also has the ability to get to standing by sticking her butt up in the air with her head on the floor (like a yoga move) and then slowly stands up- it's pretty impressive if I do say so myself! She is proud of herself, and claps when she does it! I'll post a video from yesterday of this :).
Sweet baby says "mamamamamama" when she sees food that she wants, but doesn't yet identify Jayme and I by saying our names, though she sure lights up when we walk into the room, particularly when she sees Jayme and Asher. She eats baby food (two jars/containers per meal) but is really showing interest in big people food. I'm sure she'd be happy if I didn't feed her baby food anymore! She can eat pouches of said baby food almost on her own, which is nice when we are out and about. She likes bananas, meatballs, goldfish crackers, donuts, cookies (no she doesn't get the sweets a lot), black beans, rice, hash browns and I'm sure there are other things I am forgetting! She tried and seemed to like broccoli for the first time tonight.
Hannah loves her brother, and is ALWAYS near him! She is all up in his business and this gets on his nerves (rightly so). In general he is very gentle with her, though he has taken to doing a slow motion squish move on her that she doesn't mind, most of the time. He just turns to her and slowly falls on top of her, almost elegantly. It's pretty funny, though we obviously stop him when we see it! She is no wall flower though- she's very persistent and pushes back when she wants! I've even seen her grab a toy right out of Asher's hand with no concern!
She seems to love dogs, and as previously documented will go to the gate in our bedroom and yell at them until they pay attention to her.
We are still nursing several times a day, and I don't plan to stop her the second she turns one. I think it's helped to keep her from major sickness during her first year, and I'd like to keep the no sick trend going! She's had a couple of mild colds but nothing major. Yay for that!
Hannah is a joy to have as a daughter and we are excited to see what her future brings!

Ok here's a few videos:
1. Growling back and forth with my grandpa (aka papa)
2. I was purposely ignoring her to catch her yelling when she wants more food- this was "real" food and she wanted it!
3. Yesterday, after "wrestling" with her for a little while, she was just being silly.
