Rebounderz

On Monday morning we tried something different.  We went to an indoor trampoline arena called Rebounderz.  I have been a few times for birthday parties, but thus far our kids haven't really been the right age to enjoy it fully.  Well, Dawn told me a couple of weeks ago that they have started a Toddler Time on Monday and Tuesday mornings.  Since Asher loved the bounce house we got for Hannah's birthday party, I thought we'd try it out.
I will say it would have been a good candid camera show, because I was not adequately prepared!  I didn't have socks and sneakers for Asher or Hannah (though she isn't technically allowed to bounce yet), so we had to buy socks (some for me too) and borrow shoes for Asher.  I had only brought his Crocs.  Then once I filled out a waiver for Asher and myself, I thought we were good to go.  I let Hannah hang in the stroller while I took Asher up a short flight of stairs into one of the two jumping areas.  He was a smidge nervous at first, but the LOVEd it!  However, Hannah did not love being in the stroller.  So back we went to the front to see if I could hold her while going into the bouncing area with Asher.  This required a check with the manager, then we got the go ahead.  But first back to the computer to fill out a waiver for Hannah....then we had the shoe discussion for her- nope no sneakers but I do have shoes to cover her feet, and this was adequate since she wouldn't be bouncing anyways.  Except...where did her left shoe go???? I just had it on her when we came in!!  Or maybe I didn't?!  So out to the car to check and see if it's in there....put Hannah in her car seat and Asher in the driver's seat so he won't dart out into traffic....sigh....and I didn't find the shoe.  At this point poor Asher has only gotten to bounce for about 3 minutes...so in we went and I just pretended to ignore the missing shoe.  Thankfully one of the workers found it and brought it to me...and Asher got to bounce.
So....lesson learned.  Socks and sneakers for both.  Wear Hannah in the Ergo carrier so my arms don't get tired....fill out waivers for both and then bouncing can commence!  Live and learn hahahaha!
Despite all of this, when we left Asher said "So much fun bouncing!"  I think we will return!
