Spunky to the Max!

Hannah was the most chill infant ever.  For the first year of her life.  She is now making up for it.  Haha just kidding (mostly).  Hannah Banana is getting quite spunky.  I think she even has a bit of a temper!  She will fuss for what she wants, for a very long time, and sometimes distracting her from said object takes quite a bit of effort!  She immediately tosses food off her tray that she doesn't want (today is was meatballs- just started chucking them off the side as soon as I turned around- she only wanted blueberries on her tray), and will refuse food if she sees something on the table she wants!  She likes to use a fork, and will give big smiles and will resume eating happily once I catch on!
It used to be that when we went to restaurants, Jayme would want to be in charge of Hannah and I would have Asher under my care.  The tables have now turned!  When I ask which one he wants, Jayme immediately points to Asher! Cracks me up. :)
She's starting to get an opinion about when she doesn't want to be strapped in to the car seat or stroller, too!
Little Miss is very adventurous, and really shows no fear while climbing up big slides, standing on the Mickey ride on car or climbing onto the chaise lounge, and subsequently up onto the arm of it as well (today's new skill)!  She will get on the Mickey ride on car and fuss until you come pull her along.  When she wants a door on the play kitchen open she will stand and yell until you come in and open it for her.
She brings us such joy, and is still generally a very happy baby- she's just getting more opinionated!  She's no wallflower, and doesn't take any (rare) bullying by Asher laying down!
Thankfully (knock on wood) she still goes down for naps and bed extremely easily, and is sleeping through the night about 75% of the time- yay!  She gives lots of smiles, and without much trying on anyone's part.  She signs 'please' when she wants something, and is starting to babble a lot- it's really cute!
She loves to wear jackets, and has even brought them to me and fussed until I figured out that she wanted it on, despite being in the house!  I put it on her- she held out each arm while I did so, and then waited patiently for me to zip it up.  She gave me a big smile, and off she went to play!
We just love her to pieces, and can't wait to see what each day brings!

Happy Girl after getting her jacket on.

Last picture in her infant car seat (along with some of that temper I mentioned above- she was NOT happy about being in that seat!)

Enjoying a cookie at Publix:)

Big girl car seat- though still backward facing

Happy with her fork:)
