Last weekend we just took it easy. Hannah wasn't really fit to be out in public yet, so Jayme took Asher to the pool one day and to the beach the next morning to try and wear him out. I got out to do a few errands as well, and was able to go through and organize our play room toys, which felt good. I had been very unproductive other than surviving each day last week, so getting back to normal has been nice.
I took a few pictures of poor Hannah's spots last weekend before they began to fade, and I'm happy to report her mouth is back to normal and she only has a few noticeable spots left. Asher still has some on his feet and his feet have also began to peel which kinda freaked him out but the doctor told me to expect it so no biggie!
This week we have been busy with two big things: we are continuing Hannah's swim lessons, and Asher has joined the lesson gang. The kids are at two different pools- Hannah's lessons are at 9:40am and Asher's are at 2:50pm. I'm not sure how the scheduling was done but I agreed to it because we don't have anything big going on and we want the lessons done ASAP so we can enjoy pool time this summer. It's been a bit more stressful than I thought it would be. I have to try and get the kids down by 12pm for naps so Hannah at least can get a couple of hours in (3 hours is not unusual for her) before waking them up to go to Asher's lesson. Thankfully Amy had a cancellation this morning and she put Asher in that slot, with just one lesson in between the kids.
I hope to post some videos soon, but both kids are doing really well. Hannah is doing great at swimming to the wall and this week has been learning on floating, which she really dislikes but is starting to calm down and do a better job at it.
Asher flips out at the beginning of every lesson but really knows his stuff- his lessons are just a "refresher" set of lessons. It's funny how much longer/taller he is compared to last year. Obviously they grow but it's really obvious when he's floating in the water! Yesterday he brought a Shamu figure to lessons and Amy let him swim to it, which solved all his fussing issues! So I brought it along this morning and same thing- successs! Amy says he will definitely be done next week (on Friday) so only one more week (and two weeks total) of double lessons.
The other big thing going on this week has been that we moved Asher to his toddler bed- Jayme converted the crib to a bed and man will that be a long post! It's been very interesting and will be a process to get Asher used to it, and falling asleep on his own in it, but there have been some positive happenings along the way which I am grateful for.
I'll leave you with poor Hannah's spots and a few happier ones from this week! Happy Weekend!

Midnight snack of watermelon and string cheese
We've spent hours and hours outside this week- here's our Chick-fil-a "picnic" in the driveway yesterday morning :) Hannah's eating an egg bagel and Asher is watering the plants!
