On Monday Hope and I dropped the big kids at school and just came home to chill. We literally just hung out, which was a real blessing! She needed some down time after the big weekend. She is getting a lot more interactive! She's smiling when in the right mood, and continues to sleep great and be a happy, well tempered baby, 90% of the time! So blessed by this little one. I have nicknamed her "Caboose" since she's our last baby, and we are just trying to enjoy the heck out of her and each day- it's passing by so quickly!
First nap in Pack n Play!
This is my favorite favorite thing to do with her! Hold her while she sleeps!
Tuesday was a success! By that I mean we went out and nobody melted down haha. Target was our outing and thing is how we roll:
Hannah's Class- she's the princess in pink, in the middle :)
Hannah's teachers, my friends, Laney and Jamie
Asher's class! He's the Rays baseball player next to the fire fighter
Sweet girl!
Thursday! We made it through, but it was a bit rough. The big kids are challenging me a lot these days, as I don't have as much time for them, since Hope is a newborn and obviously needs a lot. I am trying to be sure to hug and kiss during little quiet moments, as well as play with them when Hope is napping. She isn't really in a routine yet though, so some day I succeed at this much more than others! Asher really loves playing baseball and Monopoly Jr. and with all his other awesome new toys and Hannah is a bit all over the place! Normal for a 2 year old I know!
This is pretty funny. We went to Target (again) and were searching for a card. Hannah sees this one, pulls it out and says "That''s Daddy!" This is not the first time this situation has happened. LOVE this little girl, and yes Jayme you are a hottie!!!
This was their reaction to another card...by the time I videoed them they were fake laughing a bit, but I love how they look like they are conspiring with each other. :)
They love holding Hope!
My "I just need to cook dinner" face I sent to a friend. Big kids were fighting, Hope was fussy and I was trying to cook...ha!
Saved by a birthday gift!
Hannah insisted Hope wear this hat :)
Friday was smooth sailing again, which I was grateful for, kid wise. I did pick up a screw in my tire and we ended up having to replace it, because it was too close to the edge of the tire to be repaired. Not fun to spend a bunch on money we weren't expecting, but at least it's taken care of. Hannah had an awesome day at school- she had an inside carnival, and let she her teacher paint her face! I was told she spend the entire carnival looking at herself in the mirror. When we got home I asked her about it, and she told me "I look in da mirror to see I pitty, or no pitty." She told me which friends got their face painted and which didn't "Etan (Ethan) paint he face, Jazmyne no want paint." She is such a hoot. They really love school. I asked Asher which school he liked better- his old one or this one. He immediately said "My new school." I asked him why and he said "Because of my friends. So many friends." He tells me on a regular basis that he loves his teacher, Mrs. Porter "because she's the best teacher, ever!" When I was doing prayers with Hannah the other night, we were thanking God for all of our family members, and she took her paci out and said "And Ms. Petteway." Love that these kids are in a Christ centered environment, and are very happy!
Hope fell asleep looking at the animals hanging above her head. She can now see a little farther! Exciting and sweet :).
Ok I think that wraps up our week, with the exception of one thing- Jayme and I celebrated our 10th anniversary and my baby brother got engaged!!!! That's for the next post :P.
GREAT pics all around!!! Adore the one of Hope looking up at you and smiling!!!
