This week the "big kids" (as they are now called) had their school pumpkin patch visits. It's nice because the patch is on church property, so all I needed to do was put Hope in her baby carrier and walk out to meet the classes at the pumpkin patch.
Wednesday was Asher's day, and he really seemed excited Hope and I were able to be there....well, mostly for Hope haha. He had a fun time singing songs for the parents, listening to a story read by the director of the school, and then picking out a couple of pumpkins. It was on the cooler side for his visit, which was nice! Made for better pictures and was easier on Hope, who thankfully slept the whole time! She likes being close:). After they lined up to go back to the classroom, Asher said "Mommy!" I said yes bud? "I love you Mommy." Cue Mommy melt and big smile. :) This little man is such a blessing.
Here's the video of "If You're Happy and You Know It," despite Asher not singing, he did do the motions!
Asher with his classmate Ella, and then with his classmate Layton (his mom is one of Hannah's teachers, my friend Jamie).
Class pic! It's always SO easy to get them all looking and smiling hahaha
My sweet boy
Today was Hannah's turn! When I walked up to her near her classroom, she immediately said "There's my baby!" They are so proud of her! "See my baby?" they always say to whomever is around.
For Hannah's pumpkin patch time, we took class pictures, wandered around the patch together, and then after they chose their little pumpkin, they got to decorate them right then and there. Hannah saw the glitter and got so excited! She didn't quite understand that we had to put glue on first, she just wanted to dump as much pretty sparkly stuff on as she was allowed. After we were done she said "I like the punkin patch! That was tun!" aka fun. "Me no want to stand in the wagon. It pitty but I no like it." Heehee! Love this sweet girl :).
Mommy get me down!
I promise no kid got the scissors :P
Silly, sweet girl
I couldn't let Hope out of the fun! Thanks Grama W. for the Halloween onsie!
Asher got to paint his pumpkin (bottom right) after picking it from the patch on Wednesday. He was excited to bring it home today!
