She just wanted held, poor thing, and I felt terrible because I had to do baby Hope care as well, and couldn't just sit and hold her like we both wanted. She did eat, though not as much as usual.
Hannah usually handles fevers without much complaint, but this one got her down. The highest it went was 102.4, and thankfully was gone Saturday morning, but the girls and I stayed home from t-ball, just to be on the safe side.
Hannah now has a terrible cough, and I feel like it may be time to head to the doctor. She is happy during the day, though she's coughing a good amount, but it has turned into a dry, "barky" cough, and she has been up a lot tonight (Monday night) already. Time will tell! Feel free to throw a little prayer our way, as I am without Daddy tomorrow and Wednesday! Abby is coming over to help me tomorrow night, and I am thankful Jayme isn't gone much! Hope everyone had a great weekend and has a good Tuesday!!! xo
Dropping big bro off at school
My sweet girl
In general, Hannah would rather play than watch TV or do iPad, but since she was couch ridden she found a game on Nick Jr. that she could groom dogs. It made her giggle, especially when the dog says "bacon bacon!" :)
I laid down with her and a few minutes later she was asleep. This was the first and only nap she has taken since we took her paci away.
Update: It is Wednesday and I kept Hannah home from school again today. She has had croup, but today it appears to be on the upswing! She didn't cough at all last night, due to some great advice from our nurse at the pediatrician's office, but as soon as she woke up today she started coughing A LOT. I decided it would be better to not share her germs with the other kids in her class. However, after that initial coughing fit, she really didn't have any major coughing attacks the rest of today, which is great! Her cough is looser and productive (I know you wanted that detail, didn't you?:P). Thank you Lord! Praying she sleeps through the night and until at least 7am (hey we're supposed to be specific in our prayers right)? Since quitting her naps, she is going to bed at 630/645pm every night, falls asleep within seconds, and then wakes up early, at about 615am. However, if she wakes up anytime after about 4am she is awake for the day. Yes we have had a couple of those days. Take away a little girl's paci and you will feel the result of it!!! Poor baby! She's really doing great overall though!! This too shall pass...
Love love these tales!! Hope you got some sleep!! Love you!
