Today we went to the zoo to enjoy the gorgeous day and it seems everyone in Jax also had the same idea! However, we managed to have a lot of fun and the kids did great listening, despite a rough night with the big two (let's just say we ended up with Hannah on Asher's trundle bed and Asher and I in Hannah's bed, with a morning wake up time of 520am ha). Asher and Hannah are great friends, and I pray pray pray they will always be so. This morning we were getting settled at Chick-fil-a and Asher was squishing Hannah in the booth, which drove her crazy. I suggested he move across the table, to which he replied "Well I want to sit here...she's my best friend." I melted! Their conversations are adorable, and they have played very well together this week. I would like to relay this funny conversation from the other day.
Me: Asher why aren't you cleaning up?
Asher: Well I told Hannah if she cleans up my mess in the play room she can pick which Play Doh Town part she wants to play with first, so she's cleaning up my mess.....
Me: I suggest you go help her or there will be no Play Doh buddy.
Asher: Oh yeah..
Crack me up- seriously??
Back to the zoo- Asher really wanted to see the manatee rehab facility that has been built recently, so we were sure to hit that up, and the giant otters were pretty active today. I really loved watching the kids build at the Lego tables. They were so focused, building their pink house (Hannah) and manatee place (Asher). Such innocence and joy, just from Legos. Stay little! Makes me so happy!
The highlight of their day was snow cones!
The rule is they each get their own, but they have to share with mommy on demand!
LOVE this one- she offered a bite to him after giving me one, to which he said "oh yeah sure thanks!" and so he reciprocated, unprompted.
Asher's "this is really cold" face
More Lego statues!
Love Hannah's photobomb! Hope did great in the carrier
He was very proud of his creation- real joy/smile on his sweet face
These two pic sum up what childhood should be- fun and fancy free with your best friend! I will say Hannah has some competition though, with Asher's friend Cooper from school. We met up with Cooper, his mom and his brother for a playdate on Tuesday, and Asher talked all afternoon about "Coop- he's my best buddy, I love him." :)
Hope is becoming more mobile! She rolled over to Pito this afternoon, who was very surprised!
Thanks for coming over tonight Aunt Abby, and helping Mommy pick out a dress for the wedding she and Daddy are going to tomorrow night! :)
Precious pictures!! Love them!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
