Asher and Hannah were super excited for their program, and had been belting out their songs for a few weeks. It was really cute! They were well prepared for the big day! They both really love school, which makes for happy parents!
Hannah's class sang a couple of songs with the other three year old classes, and Asher's class was part of a processional, then 3 songs with the other VPK classes (4 classes in all). Asher was a shepherd! He looked so cute coming down the aisle, and it made this mama teary, thinking that this is his last year in preschool, as a "baby" of sorts. Next year there won't be a cute program like this for him, and Hannah will be in her last year of preschool. It makes my tummy queasy just thinking of it. My word, how time flies.
We were of course SO excited that Daddy could sneak away from work to come see them. Hannah is going through a very cute Daddy phase, and told me "When my program is over, I'm going to sit next to Daddy, not you, because I don't see him very much." It cracked me up! Love this silly girl.
Hope wasn't super cooperative, so the bigs just took some silly pics before hand! There was a cookie reception and art show after the program, which was really fun. They worked so hard all month getting their crafts together. One day Asher said "Mommy, I made something for you today, but it's not very exciting. It's a plate, but you can't use it." So I swooned and told him how mommies LOVE handmade things from their kids, no matter what they are!
After the program we had lunch together at Moes, which was a bit crazy- the kiddos were all hopped up on adrenaline.
Here's a clip from Hannah's program- I have the full length videos, should you have a desire to see them haha!
Asher Processional
Asher's friends, Layton and Olivia were Mary and Joseph.
