Our little peanut is just full of life. She really really is. She is quirky, spunky, sweet, loving, happy, silly and (if I do say so myself), smart! She is talking up a storm, and most people can understand her! She just moved into size 2T clothes, and wears a size 5 diaper. She naps anywhere from 1-3 hours daily, goes to bed at 7pm, and usually sleeps all night til about 630/7am!
She LOVES Bubble Guppies, her brother and sister, hugs, kisses, animals (especially dogs), dancing, Duplo blocks, reading, Bubble Guppies, Minnie Mouse, yogurt, cookies, Hershey Kisses, milkshakes, smoothies, Bubble Guppies (did I mention that yet?!😋), pacifiers, Elmo, singing, pizza, riding "on mama's bike"...the list goes on and on. She even has a stubborn streak, as evidenced by this incident:
She and I were at Target last week, and she was down and walking (she's very good at "hold you mama" then wiggling her way down to walk). She was looking at the toys and pushing the buttons on them while we were on our way to get diapers. I tried using reverse psychology on her to get her to come with me, after I repeatedly said "Ok! Let's go get your diapers" to which she responded "No no Mama, I keep lookin." I said "Ok Hope Mommy's leaving bye!" She said "Ok Mama, find me, mama, find me." meaning, come get me when you're done. I thought I was calling her bluff when I said "Ok love you bye." but ....she stayed in the aisle even after I walked away! She chatted with herself and smiled (as you can see on the video below) and was totally fine with me not being near her (very unusual haha). After taking the little video below, I told her it was time to go. "No no, Mama, I stay here! Mama, I like it!" What a goober. Thankfully her fit only lasted a few seconds and she was easily distracted, but I learned she is not totally predictable, as previously thought! My favorite thing that she says is "I yud you , Mama" or "I yud you Dada" and also "I yike (like) you Mama." I find this funny, as she seems to know the difference between like and love.
Her official birthday wasn't a huge affair, but I think she had a good time. We had Grama and Papa W up, Grama H down, and cousins came from Deltona as well. It was plenty big for our little miss, and she had fun bouncing, eating cake and opening a few gifts. As I said before, she is a big blessing, and has made our family complete. Asher and Hannah just adore her, and are very good with her while playing. Asher was just using his light saber around her yesterday, and never touched her with it, just followed her around all over the house "pretending" to get her! Hannah routinely plays babies and Barbie dolls with her, and is always willing to share both. Makes this mama happy!
I apologize in advance for these pictures not being in chronological order, but there were a bajillion pics taken and I am too tired to get them all lined up the right way!!!
Last night being one! She was grumpy, but when we both kissed her she said "more, more" :)
The big day is here!
Thanks for my ride on car Grama and Papa!
Her cousins are SO sweet with her, and she is OBSESSED with Arianna!!
Grama H's hair doing skills were used a lot!
Birthday Krispy Kreme donuts!!
Initial reaction to her birthday dress...but then she cried more when I took it off that night to put her to bed! She had to take an hour nap mid day while Jayme, Papa and Asher were at tball, because she was a bit melty, but that goes with the territory I think!
Watching bounce house get set up! Hope was initially scared of it, but her cousins really helped her and took her under their wing!
Gifts, cake and a few pics of cutie pie Arianna- she is a mostly still subject, so I could practice a bit on her!!
