Funday Sunday! On Saturday we just hung around the house and did necessary things. Yesterday though we decided to "do something." After Asher's nap we went to the zoo for a little while. It was a beautiful day, and we took it easy, just seeing the animals we wanted to. When we went with Grandma and Grandpa Wiggins the jaguars were not out, which was disappointing, but they AND the baby jaguar were out yesterday. Fun! Asher took charge at the giraffe exhibit and fed the giraffes on his own. I was impressed- it was funny. He really got smiley though when we went to see the elephants. We read books with elephants in them and he knows the sound for elephants. When he saw them, he immediately smiled and did the elephant sound. Yay!
After coming home from the zoo I had the privilege of going to a baby shower in my honor! My sweet friends Dawn and Barbie hosted an intimate shower at one of my favorite restaurants, Cantina Laredo. I was spoiled rotten! Thanks ladies!! :) Sweet Pea's room is gray, lavender and aqua, and the invite and décor matched her room! Our favor was a bottle of lavender nail polish, which I will be using when I go get my pre-hospital stay pedicure soon. What a fun night!
