Birthday Cake!

After naps on October 19th, we celebrated Asher's 2nd birthday at one of his favorite places, Bay & Bee.  I have talked about it before on the blog.  Leading up to his birthday, I had been singing 'Happy Birthday' to Asher, as well as the verse 'how old are you?' so he would know he is two!  He likes to answer this question, and when he says 'two' he makes it into two syllables and has a little bit of a southern accent!  It's very cute.  There are also a few Mickey Mouse episodes where parties happen and cakes and balloons appear.  So when we talk about it being his birthday he jumps up and says "birthday...cake!"  It's cute.  I'm not sure how much of it he actually grasped but he was happy running around and playing at Bay & Bee.  We definitely missed Aunt Mandy, Uncle Juan, Joanna, Elena, Lydia and Caleb and are so grateful that so much family was there to celebrate this huge day with us!  We know it takes lots of effort to do all that driving, and it's so appreciated!
