Wiggins World!!!: Marathon Day!

This weekend we were supposed to go to Sea World with Grama and Papa. However, the weather did not want to cooperate and it was rainy ALL day Saturday and part of yesterday. We decided to go down to central FL yesterday anyway, to hang out with family.
It just so happened that I was texting with my friend Michelle (of Rich and Michelle), and it worked out that we could see them too! After I arranged that meeting I realized I had us scheduled to the max for the day, something we don't usually do! We were somewhat nervous the kids would fall apart. They definitely had their moments, but we made it successfully through the day, with lots of fun memories too!
So first we went to Panera Bread with the Zachry family for about an hour. I plan on doing a post about them but it was nice to catch up a little bit and see their sweet faces. Cole is only 3 months older than Asher, and while they didn't interact with each other much, it's still fun to see them side by side.

Next we were off to Deltona, to a restaurant called Wong's for lunch! They very smartly stuck our party of 12 in the back room, where the kids could be noisy!:) After lunch we went to the Sali's house for playtime, cupcakes and gifts to celebrate Elena's 6th birthday. The Sali kids are so sweet and walk around saying things like "I love family, I love my cousins." It's really fun to see them together, running around and playing. At lunch Lydia had fun sitting with Hannah, breaking up pieces of Chinese noodles for her and playing peek a boo with her. Amanda said when they pulled in the parking lot next to us Caleb said "Asher! Asher! I wuf Asher!" G.G. Papa and Dawn and Ray were there too- and Asher LOVED the "tuptakes" Auntie Dawn made- he kept coming back for more, saying "I want some more tuptakes!"

Elena was so excited about her princess Bible from her parents and the music box we gave her, among many other goodies! :)

After cupcakes and fun we headed to Port Orange to spend a couple of hours with Grama and Papa. Poor Asher fell asleep on the way there (Hannah napped for a bit at the Sali's), so I let him sleep for about 25 minutes in the driveway while Jayme took Hannah in.
We had fun playing all over Grama and Papa's property. Asher invented a game out on the deck where he'd take us each by the hand ("let me help you" he'd say) and send us outside the gate leading to the yard, then he'd hold it open for us to come back in, saying "wait for Mommy to come in" before closing it. Then he'd repeat it! Oh the fun of being a toddler. We also went down to the dock for a few minutes. Asher helped Papa reel in the bait! We went to Chili's for dinner and then drove back to Jax, arriving home at about 9pm. Straight to bed for the littles and then to bed ourselves! A really fun day!
