Daddy, Asher and Baseball

Well, Asher decided he wants to be a baseball player for Halloween, but you would be surprised how hard it is to find a baseball costume!  So after going to several stores, Jayme pieced together a pretty real version of a Tampa Bay Rays baseball uniform for Asher to wear at the end of the month.  I ordered most of it online today, but our local sports store said they had the pants in stock, so this evening when Jayme got home I suggested he take Asher out for a bit of father son bonding time and go pick out some pants!  Asher happily bid me goodbye and jumped into the back of Jayme's car to go find said baseball pants.  He and Jayme had a blast picking them out, trying them on and then walking around the store together, trying on helmets and checking out bats.  A fun time for them both.  They came home to a cupcake for dessert, and then it was bath and bed for Asher Cade.  I love these two so much I think my heart may burst!  Special time for them :).

Buttons, or no buttons?

 Asher asks almost daily for a helmet "to protect my face."  Daddy found one on sale he couldn't pass up! :)
