Silly Saturday

Before I write about Saturday I just have to document the cute conversations the kids had this morning while they were playing in the playroom.  I was eating breakfast at the table while they played.
Asher: "Let's go Hannah!  (kids sit on couch pretending they are in the van, and Asher starts to sing) We love our minivan, we love our minivan!  Ok we're here, at the baby hospital to have the baby."
They were so cute.  Then Asher was pretending he was pregnant and telling Hannah "do you want to feel the baby?  Just touch, don't hit!"  I was cracking up.
I'm assuming this came from Saturday at the beach when Lovebug was moving and Asher finally felt her moving.  He got really excited and said "Yay!  That baby's coming out now!"  Poor kiddo- so hard to wait!
Moving on to Saturday!  We did our usual beach morning, with Chick-fil-a drive through for breakfast at the beach.  The kids had a blast making animals out of sand (well instructing us to do it), taking some pictures and avoiding the water haha.  Well, Hannah will willingly get in up to her knees, but Asher isn't keen on it still.  We're working on it!  It goes along with his personality :P.

Saturday afternoon Jayme and Asher went on some errands and came back with ICEE's for both Asher and Hannah.  Oh the smile on her little face when she realized they got her her own ICEE!  Asher was very eager to tell me "Mommy!  They all said 'out of order'!"  They had to go to two places for the coveted ICEE's.  Then they were discussing methods of drinking it while at the table together.  Hannah says "Drink swowly, don't get head...ache, icee."  Asher said "Drink slowly like a slof."  They are two peas in a pod.

Jayme cooked burgers and hot dogs on the grill for dinner, and I made some corn on the cob as well.  This is one of Asher's favorite foods, and Asher, Daddy, and Hannah had fun being silly while eating the corn.  Had to be there, but it was a fun memory.  The kids were giggling up a storm at how fast Daddy was eating!
