The zoo currently has a Lego exhibit going on called Nature Connect. There are about 7 Lego statues around the zoo, most of them in the middle of the zoo, and they are impressive! I'm going to include some pictures from our last visit too- I took better pictures of the models then.
We did awesome for quite awhile, but when we sat down to have our lunch that I packed, the sky was dark and gray! It was almost time for us to leave, but then it started raining. Thankfully the kids thought it was fun, and didn't mind getting wet (well Hope didn't love it but she survived). We ran to the jaguar exhibit which has some inside animals, and then found a table with Legos that was under cover. There are apparently two, more extensive areas of Legos we will be checking out the next time we visit.
It was still raining at about 1pm, and that is past Hannah's naptime! We decided to brave the rain and hopped under cover whenever we could. Of course shortly after we arrived at the van it stopped raining, but it is now a fun memory! Love these kiddos and that I get to stay home with them!
They like to "weigh" aka measure themselves on this board, which, if we didn't have passes, could get us in cheap!
Lego polar bears!
Happy Girl
Our tradition "train selfie" Asher now asks for it!
The zoo was pretty empty, so they got to run ahead!
Anyone know what this is called???
Elephant Plaza aka their "Sea Lion High" stage- they both look so old to me here!
They like looking at the snakes- ewwww!
Lego gecko, as it was starting to rain
