The final week of Summer Fun was the last week in July. It was such a good decision to send them, despite my nervousness. Both Hannah and Asher had a blast, and it gave me just the right amount of a break to get some things done around the house. I got a preview of what this fall will be like with Asher going to school every day, and it will require some doing to pack a lunch and kid daily, but I think he will do well with the structure. I can't believe it's almost time for VPK. Crazy. But anyway- the kids had a blast, and they were kept very active. From inside playtime to outside playground time, to yoga and dancing, they were always on the move. They were exhausted and ready for some quiet downtime when I got them back, but that's not a bad thing! I'm thankful for their teachers and that they heard Bible stories and songs while doing "regular" learning! Fun times for the big kids.
These pictures aren't in any order but just ones that were shared on the site for Summer Fun. :)
I wish I could be a fly on the wall :).
On water day, our kids apparently didn't want to do much! They told me there were too many other kids, that they didn't want to get involved. I think this is funny, and the pictures are cute- they stuck together and just watched everyone! I was told several times how sweet they were to each other.
Last Day!
