Last week was a pretty good week. The kids begged to go outside everyday, so we did just that! They are loving drawing and writing on their whiteboards, and we play some quasi soccer as well. Asher loves to make scoreboards, and Hannah loves to be dramatic about the scoreboards, and everything her brother does. Haha- good thing she's so cute. Hope is now old enough to have fun outside without me being worried about her falling down the step into the yard. She loves hanging with her siblings and pretending she's as big as they are! She is very screechy at the moment, and when she gets tired watch out! She pushes hard on my legs and grabs my jeans when she decides she wants held, which is a lot. The super close up not totally in focus upside down pic is when she was doing just that while I was trying to take a couple pics of Asher!! I leaned over and snapped her pic.
They big kids are also obsessed with a new show on Nick Jr called Top Wing, though Asher insists it's called Tuff (Tough?) Wing. One of the characters is named Penny, and she often says "that's fierce!" So Hannah is perfecting her fierce face. She will literally yell my name across the house, run to me and do her "pose." You can see a couple of them here! Fun times with the littles :).
Being the goalie for Asher :) kinda...
Hope loves to play with all the ride on toys (thanks Dawn for this one...it's still going!!) and she loves the paintbrushes she finds in the garage as well.
She fits right in with this TV loving family :P she now watches Sesame Street
Little man, growing up so fast
Love her baby blues- no editing or filters on this one!
I told him he could throw the ball at me so I could get a pic of him- he thought that was fun :)
Hannah was pretending to be a cat all afternoon. Sweet siblings scratching their cat. :P
Scoreboard that only Asher can decipher!
Oh, and this was not last week, but Asher is learning how to use invented spelling. This was some homework from VPK. They were reading the story
Who Took The Cookies From the Cookie Jar? and he had to draw three animals from the story, and try to write their names. In case it's hard to read, his choices were ant, mouse and turtle. Invented spelling is writing the sounds you hear, not so much every letter perfect.
