Do-nut! Do-nut!

This morning we had an impromptu breakfast with Dawn.  We never turn down Krispy Kreme, so off the kids and I went to meet her for some yummy donuts!  It's always fun to watch Asher in particular interact with Dawn.  She is quite fun, and gets both kids going with smiles in no time!  She had Asher chanting "do-nut, do-nut" for part of the time, and was just cracking them both up! Dawn helps me remember to just enjoy them at this age.  Sometimes I get focused on making sure they do every thing "right" all the time, and she helps me to relax and focus on their sweetness!
I am happy to report that Hannah ate her entire donut!!  That's my girl! :P  She likes sweets like her mommy.  She also likes healthy stuff too- chowed down on avocado and broccoli at dinner tonight.
Hannah is starting to say some more words, or repeat them at least.  She says "A-ya" or "A-da" for Asher, and had a version of avocado tonight.  It didn't really sound like avocado, but it was the same syllables every time I asked her to repeat me.  Sweet girl!
One sweet moment at Krispy Kreme was when I told Asher we would be leaving soon.  He got a sad look on his face, turned to Dawn and said "I want to hold you" and wrapped his little arms around her neck for a big hug.  He was sad to leave her- such a sensitive little guy!  Just love him to pieces!

After naps we were doing some more magic show stuff (I gave him his costume yesterday) and Hannah brought Asher's cape over to me and wanted it on.  Asher isn't that into the cape yet so he had no problems with this, thankfully!  She wore it around for quite awhile.  I was impressed!  I dubbed her Asher's assistant.
Tonight after Jayme got home Asher kept coming out from behind the closet door yelling "fantastic!" Jayme got him to count to three and then come out with a big smile on his face.  It was really cute.  Hannah just wanted to be near her big brother, and would follow him behind the door and back out.

 

This was yesterday right after I gave him the costume.  When he was done, on his own he put the costume back in the bag, brought it to me and said "here ya go mommy!"
