Our Week

This week has been a great, "normal" week.  Nothing crazy happening or going on, just chill!  The kids have been good, and we've had good days!  Hannah is teething- her last four until her two year molars yay!  so she has been a bit off, particularly at bedtime Tuesday and Wednesday night.  Tonight though I gave her Advil about 30 minutes before bed and she went down easily.  :)
Asher is talking more and more- he picks up on a lot of funny phrases when he watches Mickey and Bubble Guppies, as well as remembering things we say to him.
For example, the other day he was squeezing into the small space between Hannah's crib and the wall and I told him to be careful.  He replied "Don't worry Mommy, I can handle it."  Hilarious- especially with his little voice saying it.
Today when I put him down for his nap he said "Hi Mommy- I miss you."  Which I said a lot after I came back from Asheville.  Such a lovebug!
Monday when we were at Bay & Bee Hannah left the little playhouse where we were all hanging out together.  Asher said "Goodbye Hannah, see you next time, we miss you!"
He's also making us a bit sad, growing up and saying words correctly now!  He said "flamingo" the other day, instead of "mingo" and he has started saying "You're welcome" instead of "your welpum."  When I picked him up from school today he was chatting quite emphatically about the new beta fish that they have as a class pet.  "He name is Oscar.  He's a fish.  I don't fink Oscar want to stay in bowl, I fink he want to come out."  Here's a video about Oscar that I took once we arrived home.

Then there's little miss Hannah.  She is Miss Independent!  Today we went to the Town Center for some shopping and she made it through two stores before declaring herself done.  She was happy as a clam when she got what she wanted- to walk!  However, she REFUSED to walk in the direction I wanted her to, and needed to stop at every store window and tried to go into the stores that had their doors propped.  UNTIL I took her into a store....then she wanted out and made a beeline for the door.  She keeps me on my toes- I just love her to pieces!
This afternoon the kids did some more wrestling on the bed in Hannah's room.  It was fun!  Excuse Hannah's no shirt- I was trying some outfits on her and she wanted the skirt to stay on.  It was close to dinner time so I just left her shirt off.
Here's some pictures from our week!
