Little Bakers

Yesterday I was going to take the kids out but they spied the Valentine's Day cupcake mix and cupcake tin we just bought at Target, and begged to make them!  So make we did.  The kids were very good listeners, waiting patiently while I set everything up before they could help.  After we made the cupcakes we let them cool while they ate dinner, then the fun began!  Hannah was OBSESSED with the sprinkles, so much to my chagrin I let her be in charge of them, while Asher handled the candies.  He carefully peeled them off the sheet and lined them up, ready to put them on the cupcakes!  When we were done he chose the one with 3 candies, stating that one was his, because he is "free years old."  He asked how old Daddy is, and when I said he's too old for that many candies on his cupcake, he chose the one with 4 x's just for him.  Sweet boy!
Oh and while they were eating dinner they got the giggles from us making sounds back and forth at each other.  I got it on video, though the video is not great quality! Sorry!

 Hannah at the end.  She did pretty well not eating the cupcakes, but then when I was looking the other way she started licking icing off two different ones!  So I took the rest from her and she recovered from her sadness of having them taken away when she realized she could eat the two she had licked!

I also just thought I'd include a few random pics from this week of the kids playing.  Blessed we are!

Hannah insists on eating with "more guys" at every meal.  She's not happy unless they are ALL lined up.  Life of a toddler!

Asher saw the picture below on my phone yesterday and this was his comment:
"Hey that's Caleb!  He's my friend.  Well, Caleb is my buddy....and so is Parker...and Nicholas too!  I have free (3) friends!"
Yesterday evening, I was relaying the convo to Jayme and Jayme said "Am I your buddy?"  Asher replied "No, just kids are my buddies, I have free friends, they are boys."  Love it!  So fun to see how their minds work.
