A-SHER!

Our little man is such a blast to be around.  He is full of hugs, kisses, silliness and happiness.  Of course he has his not so happy moments, but I just don't think we could love him (or his sister) more.  He picks up new words daily ( today he started saying cute- "tute", yesterday "shopping" was the word of the day), including his name last Thursday.  He patiently repeats his version of a word until we figure out what he meants (for example "tumpee= trumpet).  He loves the "puter" and when given the opportunity he likes to "type" on it.  Thursday morning he had that opportunity while we were getting ready for Hannah's doctor appointment and his swim lessons (I took Hannah, Jayme took Asher).  The desktop background was a picture of Asher, Hannah and their 4 cousins in Deltona.  We were naming each of them (he says a variation of each) and then when I got to him I said "that's you, that's Asher."  Usually he ignores us when we ask him to say his name, but for some reason he started saying it over and over!!!  We were ecstatic, and he picked up on this, smiling and saying his name over and over again.

He has also started/resurrected his happy surpised face when he is excited about something he does or seeing someone he loves, whether it's making a basket in his basketball hoop, saying a new word or knocking down plastic bowling pins, this is the face:

The first two were excitement over seeing Daddy outside the window, and the third was just being silly!  Love this little guy.
