It's late so I will keep this one short, but I am still thinking and smiling about our vacation last week. I think some of my favorite memories are going to see the sunsets almost every night, getting donuts, or 'dodo' as Asher calls them, sleeping/snuggling with Asher, Hannah getting her first two teeth, and how every time we pulled into the driveway Asher said 'pool, pool, pool?' He really loved playing/swimming in the pool and the big steps in the pool as well. I think he would pick the pool over the beach, but if we said no to the pool he immediately replied with 'beach?' Such a cutie pie! He now also counts like Ms. Amy does during swim lessons- either '1, 2, 3, go' or 'ready, set, go' even when he's just playing inside the house - today he did it when he kept jumping in his ball pit!
Asher really loved the way the donuts looked but wasn't too interested in eating them. On Friday we ended up going to the Florida Aquarium and IKEA due to the all day rain, but before we went I took Asher to go pick up donuts for breakfast. He was very interested in watching them being made, and when the guy handed ours to us Asher said 'dodo- YAY!' It was very cute. Here are some pictures of the trip to the donut shop all together- first you pick your icing, then your toppings, then you wait for them to be custom made!
Hannah's first tooth popped through on Sunday, our first full day in Anna Maria. The second one made it's appearance on Wednesday! No wonder she has been crankier than usual (even though nobody believes me)! Sweet girl! She is really really going to town with all her rolling. She gets herself where she wants to go, and seems to be a determined little girl. Here at home she is especially good at rolling over to Asher's toys. She also loves to sit up and play. She still falls over occasionally, but putting the Boppy behind her allows me some freedom to do things around the house, and she is happy not always having to lay down! It's almost time to put away some of her baby apparatuses, ie the swing, rock n play and play mat. Our baby is growing up!
