Aunt Abby's Classroom

Last Thursday we had the distinct pleasure of visiting Aunt Abby's classroom to see where she works!  After naps we headed over to the other side of the world....HAHA just kidding, it's a 30 minute drive without any traffic.  It's up I-95 and then to I-10 West, the first exit off of 10.  It was really special to see her domain, and I have the utmost respect for her!  When we arrived I looked at the high school students that were still at the school and got nervous!  I could not imagine teaching kids that are almost as big as me, some bigger!  Kudos to you Abby.
The kids were very excited for the new experience, and had fun exploring the classroom.
After we saw her school we headed over to the are where she will be living starting Monday, a cottage in Avondale.  If you follow HGTV at all, it's actually a tiny house!  I can't wait to take some pictures after she decorates it.  It's the perfect spot- in a beautiful, historic neighborhood, a half mile from a few blocks of restaurants and shops, and only 10-15 minutes from her school.  I am really sad she won't be close to us as she has been the last couple of months (she's been living in our upstairs), but she will be eliminating her 45 minute- 1 hour daily commute, each way.  She's been a trooper, but it is a haul!
The kids have gotten attached to her- every time they hear a noise outside in the afternoon Asher says "Aunt Abby's home!"  and Hannah says "Babby?  Abby?"  One day last week Abby made a very quick appearance at home to change clothes then left to go grab food.  Asher was disappointed she wasn't going to play with him.  He said "Where's Aunt Abby?  She's my buddy."
She promises to come over for The Bachelor TV show every Monday, and we will go over whenever we get a chance!  We are so proud of you Aunt Abby and love you lots.  So excited and blessed you are here in Jax.
