We spent a good amount of time at Lowe's/Home Depot this weekend,trying to figure out how to hang a shark sculpture that I got Jayme for Christmas. It was something he showed me back in the summer, and I finally got it for him!
Last night we went to see a Christmas lights display that is only about 10 minutes from our house, and then went to get some ice cream before heading back home. You sit in your car and tune your radio to the station that is coordinated with the lights. Very cool!
However, while I was making dinner, Jayme was hanging with the kids, and he called me over to see what they were up to. Asher decided they were going on a space mission, and they needed space helmets. So he thought (clean) undies would make good helmets! I came out of the kitchen to find this :
They must have had a lot of fun, because today Asher said, as we were going out the door for a walk "awww nuts, we didn't finish our mission!"
Also thought this was worth sharing. Back in October when I first put boots on Hannah she cried. Now, if I give her the option she immediately says "boots, boots." We have had many discussions in the last week about how she can't wear them because it's 85 degrees outside! Last night I gave up and let her wear what she wanted to go see the Christmas light display. She had on a new dress OVER her regular clothes (thanks Nonna and Grandpa), and then insisted on the boots. Picture worthy for sure!
She loved the ice cream as well! Couldn't feed it to her fast enough! Both Jayme and I lost half our ice cream to her :). Asher was happy with half a gummy worm. There's a few pics of the lights as well! Oh, and the shark sculpture! Happy Monday!
